Gracie & Lacy Perform For Veterans Weekend In Charleston

CHARLESTON - Showbiz sisters Gracie & Lacy are known for their commemorative performances saluting United States armed forces and veterans. Kicking off a string of Veterans Day-themed shows, including stops in Washington D.C. and Alabama, the duo will make a special appearance at Forte Jazz Lounge in Charleston, South Carolina on November 13th, 2021. "Boogie Woogie Bugle Jam!" will be held in the main theatre at the King St. based venue with shows at 3pm and 7pm.


Joined by the popular Forte Jazz Lounge band, Gracie & Lacy will present a musical journey through the decades featuring music that brought America through the war years. Special guest and Army Band veteran, Brian Bohannon, will be featured as the Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy on trumpet. Popular bandleader of the Charleston Gatsby Orchestra, Billy McSweeney, will be highlighted on vocals and trombone. Saxophonist Jon Phillips, known for his work in the Joe Clarke Big Band and Motown & More, is also back by popular demand. Nolan Tecklenburg, a master of the keys, will be joined by the stellar rhythm section with John F. Kennedy on bass and Josh Hoover on drums.
